Compare the same scope
Ask each proposal to identify equipment, included accessories, freight, unloading, concrete, erection, drying, handling and installation responsibilities. A storage subtotal is not the price of a complete pictured facility.
Resolve the open items
Electrical service, fuel, site work, engineering, permits and taxes need an identified scope or an explicit exclusion. Distinguish a fixed quoted amount from an allowance that can change when its assumptions are resolved.
Use the approved version
Confirm quantity, model, revision, validity period, payment terms and change-order procedure before ordering. Any design-package credit toward a later facility purchase must be stated in the written proposal.
